Kid Makeovers

This afternoon -kids playing outside me in the kitchen I hear Emily saying noooo and Daniel says you will like it it will give you blue hair I thought I had better investigate. Daniel was holding a tennis racket over Emily's head grating a piece of blue sidewalk chalk into her hair. It worked surprisingly well and Emily was pleased with the result. I was glad it could mostly shake off since there was no time for a bath before open house. How to explain that it is just not so funny or cute comeing from a 13 year old. Our kids do like to improve on great ideas, I wonder how long sidewalk chalk will last.

Face painting went through a great little string a while back. Sarah had face paint crayons that you wet and wash off quite easily. She would paint faces usually hers and Emily's daily for a while. It was getting out of controll, so I put them up and forgot about them. A few weeks later Sunday morning we load everyone into the car and drive the one mile to church and turn to unbuckle Emily and she has her face painted as a dog. Quick trip to the bathroom and Sarah was dissapointed that not many people saw her handiwork. A couple of weeks later this happend when my back was turned.

Who knew that sidewalk chalk had so many uses?

It's going to be an exciting week to see what antics our kids can come up with together.
