- The parent who'd obviously been in a similar situation who said, "Good job keeping your cool."
- The shopping-cart wrangler who checked on them three times to make sure everything was still OK.
- The concerned customer who told us that people in the store were starting to get worried and "were thinking about calling someone".
- The numerous passersby with expressions ranging from sympathy to outrage.
- The one guy who circled back in his car to take first a picture, then a full video of the incident with his cell phone.
After about 30 minutes of screaming and yelling, Rachel calmed down, gave Katie a hug, and said, "Okay, I'm ready to go home now."
Anyway, if you get calls about us from Child Protective Services for character references, or recognize us in a viral video entitled "Child Abuse in Moorpark", at least you know our side of the story.
