I really was trying to make blogging a weekly habit, but the last two weeks have been crazy. Although we didn't quite get to Becky levels of simultaneous equipment breakdowns, we did have our computer go out two weeks ago. (Actually it was the video card, but I digress). And our computer/video card is old enough that we couldn't just hop down to Best Buy and get a replacement. So we've got a borrowed card in until the tax refund comes though, then it's upgrade time!
Our digital camera was also a casualty earlier this year. A word to the wise: it may not be a good idea to take your camera to the beach if there's a chance you'll need to suddenly drop your camera in the sand to chase after someone who gets in the water a little deeper than is comfortable. So the picture quality isn't quite as good, but we're going to share anyway.
So anyway, two weeks ago the big highlight was Rachel turning 3. In the picture you should be able to make out her homemade knitted hat and scarf, courtesy of Sarah, and the "dog guitar". Yes, it's as fun as it sounds if you're three, and as annoying as it sounds if you're not.

Happy Birthday Rachel!! Love the new threads and I am so happy for you, and your parents, that you got a dog guitar. ;) Sam would be super jealous!
